John Muir Trust-People
In photographing wild landscapes, I don't want to overlook the fact that people have been living and working there for centuries and beyond.
These photographs will show the relationship of people to the wild environments in which they live, work and play.

Rhydymwyn Valley Nature Reserve in North Wales.
Matty McIntyre runs Bushcraft courses at Rhydymwyn Valley Nature Reserve in North Wales. The site was a wartiime base for chemical and atomic research. The remaining military buildings add a surreal backdrop, but controlled access to the site has allowed a rich diversity of animal and plant life to flourish. Here a railway platform is semi submerged in the undergrowth.
